This is the very best shrimp creole recipe EVER!  This simple fresh southern comforting dish will make you want to expose your bare breasts to strangers without beads, it's THAT good.  "Beads, Creole food and lot's of fun... It will be a party second to none with this dish my friends!" Happy Mardi Gras All!

INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ cup diced green, red bell and yellow peppers
½ cup diced onions
½ cup diced celery
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoons Creole seasoning
4 large tomatoes diced
1 (8-ounce) can organic tomato sauce
2 cups Shrimp Stock
2 tablespoons Louisiana Hot Sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon brown sugar (Use Spleda for low carb version)
½ cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of fresh Thyme, minced
2 bay leaves
Salt and pepper
2 pounds peeled and deveined large fresh raw shrimp
Green onions, for garnish

PREPARATION:
Preheat crock pot on high.  In fry pan, heat olive oil. Add garlic, peppers, onions and celery. Cook until softened. On medium heat, add wine and deglaze the pan by stirring the bits that are stuck to the bottom of the pan with the wine. Add chili and cayenne powder and sauté until caramelized. Remove from heat and pour into crock pot. Add the rest of the ingredients except the shrimp. Simmer on low for 3 hours.

Add shrimp and cook for about 3 minutes. Serve over rice. Top with chopped green onions and fresh chopped parsley.  This dish warms the heart and goes great with fresh cocktails!  ENJOY!
