Good Gris Gris Grits

The power of Gris-Gris (pronounced "Gree Gree") is awesome. When a Gris-Gris spell is cast properly, the results can be spectacular, especially when cheddar cheese are involved!  Cast this yummy good spell on your dinner party. Happy Mardi Gras All!

INGREDIENTS:
2 (14-oz.) cans chicken broth
¾ cup uncooked quick-cooking grits
½ (8oz.) cream cheese
½ cup freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese
¼ teaspoon ground white pepper

COOKING MUSIC SELECTION: Dr. John Ki Ya Gris Gris

PREPARATION:
Bring chicken broth to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat; gradually whisk in grits. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 12 to 15 minutes or until thickened. Add cheeses and pepper, stirring until melted.  Serve this way or add shredded cheese to the top and pop it in the broiler on high for 5 mins to get the cheese melty and a little crunchy on top..... Also a great sexual lubricant!
