Here is the home-made gift
I gave to my friends and family this holiday season.
It was the best thing that ever happened to cornbread, french toast and even was great painted on chicken and baked in the oven! This recipe is so yummy, it's simple goodness. Make some for your friends.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of local honey
4 sticks of soft room temperature butter
½ teaspoon of fine ground sea salt
4 sticks of soft room temperature butter
½ teaspoon of fine ground sea salt

PREPARATION:
Soak the vanilla beans in water overnight. Split each with a sharp knife and scrap the vanilla paste out of each and place into a bowl. (Keep the husks for flavoring other things like sugar or salt after they are dry)
In the same bowl, add all the honey the salt and the butter. Blend in the vanilla and mix thoroughly until smooth. Put in clean mason jars or a good airtight container and keep refrigerated after opened. ENJOY!!!!.
