Print Friendly and PDF
This ain’t some fancy pants cheesy grits… NO!  it’s something delicious and luscious and amazing as a side dish with any kind of meat or fish…

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1½ cups Polenta (Corn meal)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
Pinch of fresh ground nutmeg

PREPARATION:
Pour cornmeal in small bowl. Bring broth to boil in heavy large saucepan. Gradually add cornmeal mixture, stirring until well blended. Reduce heat to low and simmer until polenta is very thick, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes. Mix in 1/2 cup cheese, cream and butter. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer polenta to serving bowl. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over. OH YEA BABY....This is so gooood.
