I'm sitting here this morning at the Zeitgeist Bar in San Francisco waiting for auto glass place to finish replacing my broken window in my Squirly Whirly art car drinking Absinthe in honor of Ol' St. Patrick and his big Shillelagh. We came up with this one, hope you like it. HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY ALL! Go ahead and chase the green fairy! I recommend it.
INGREDIENTS:
1 part absinthe
1 part vodka,
1/2 spiced rum
1/4 Absolute Vanilla
Fresh Lime squeeze
Shaken & Flame stirred…
GREEN FAIRY MIXING MUSIC SELECTION: Absinth - Theme Song
PREPARATION:
Place fresh ice into a martini shaker and all of the ingredients and shake well. Dip a tea spoon of sugar into 1 shot of absinthe, flame it on the spoon and let it caramelize, once the flame has gone out stir it into the absinthe and stir it into your freshly poured martini. Add a Shamrock as a garnish if you can find one. Drink immediately.
