I spent last Sunday home brewing beer with my "Odd Grogs", homebrew motley crew. We brewed 35 gallons of beer on Sunday. There are some California State Champion Brewers in our posse, so I am taking every chance I can to brew along side them to learn as much as I can. We get together to make beer for our big bi-annual camping trip.

There ain’t nothing like drinking hand crafted Home brews in the mountains with your friends. Porters, Stouts, (Patricia brewed a Farout Milk Stout) Steams, Double Bocks, Cool Lagers…I brewed a nice English Pale Ale… it should be refreshing on a hot summer day.

Doc Scott went down in his basement and pulled out a couple nameless bottles that he had in there… 6 year old Meads elderberry, OMFG, the best ever! The Newt King makes his own Absinthe as well as wine. It’s fun to brew beer with talented people.

Most of these folks are musicians and chefs too….good times…. Happy carboys bubbling nicely in the cool corner. Fermentation......Giggle Water in the making.
