Atomic Bacon Wrapped Habanero & Jalapenos stuffed with Cream Cheese

If you know me, I like to make HOT stuff most the time, but it's not for everyone. I love these and they are always a big hit at any party. Jalapenos are's hot enough for me so I also make this recipe with Habanero's.... both are outstanding!

INGREDIENTS:
20 whole Fresh Jalapenos,

20 whole Habanero chillies
4 cubes Cream Cheese, softened
2 pounds Bacon, Sliced Into Thirds

COOKING MUSIC SELECTION: Sly & the Family Stone - Hot Fun in the Summertime

PREPARATION:
If you have them, slip on some latex gloves for the pepper prep… Cut jalapenos and Habaneros in half, length-wise. With a spoon, remove the seeds and white membrane (blend and freeze the seeds and membranes for future marinade recipes).

Smear softened cream cheese into each pepper half. Wrap them with bacon pieces (1/3 slice). Secure by sticking toothpick through the middle. (At this point, you can freeze them, uncooked, in a Ziploc bag for later use).

Fire up the grill. Jalapeño's on one side and Habanero's on the other. Turn them until the bacon is nice and done. They are ready to serve! DANGEROUSLY GOOD!
